Our
Services
We evaluate any horse, anywhere in Ireland.
You will receive a written report as well as un-edited video. We will ride/try the horse (we can also assess unbroken horses) and assess temperament, conformation, performance and suitability based on your requirements.
We call this our “go see” service. We get to any horse faster and for less money than anyone traveling from outside of Ireland. You should always try before you buy –so, if you can’t get there yourself, try by proxy using our service.
Alternatively, we source horses. We know where to look, who to trust and have often already seen some candidates on our travels: We attend, compete and occasionally judge at shows and competitions around Ireland as well as visiting private yards every day.
While we encourage you to search the web for any potential candidates please be aware that once we are instructed to source horses on your behalf our fees will include a 10% commission on the successful purchase of your new horse(s).
If you intend to attend trials with us, we will arrange yard visits on a date that suits you – please understand that the best horses often sell quickly so we should ‘pencil in’ a date before commencing a detailed. A buying trip to Ireland is fun. We can prepare an itinerary based on your chosen candidates and travel time. We may also advise a stop or two at reputable producers where we know of potentially perfect matches.
If you cannot attend a horse viewing with us, we will perform a detailed evaluation on your behalf. This is common for overseas buyers so, rest assured you will be in expert hands.
When you have decided to buy we can recommend good local vets for a pre-purchase examination. While our initial report will cover common issues regarding confirmation, soundness, wind, sarcoids, height verification etc we strongly recommend getting a vetting prior to buying any horse. We can attend vetting’s in person if required.
Livery and further training is also available at our facility (based on availability) – we can take your horse for a week or for months to further its education, providing you with daily updates on his/her behaviour and any particular needs – this ‘halfway house’ system is popular with buyers who want us to experience their horses behaviour and progress in an unfamiliar environment prior to ‘taking up the reins’ themselves.
